Middle east for oil revenue and oil business

Middle east for oil revenue and oil business
Oil is used in almost every single powering technique throughout the United States. 97% of the cars run on oil and most homes are powered by plants that use oil. Because of all the imported oil comes from the Middle East, the United States is completely dependant upon the Middle east for oil and in turn power. Without power, the United States could not function as it does today. Saudi Arabia is extremely important to the oil business in the United States. 13% of the oil used in the United States comes from Saudi Arabia. 13% might sound like a small percentage, but considering the amount of oil used on a daily basis in the United States, Saudi Arabia is doing quite well for itself in the oil business. The United States also purchases oil from Pakistan, Iraq and Syria if not other areas as well. If these nations decided to raise the prices of oil or cut off our supply completely, the nation would be in great danger. Not only are Arab nations important, but our relationship with them is important as well.
