Restrictions upon women in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabian women are discriminated a lot over gender and life as a woman in Saudi Arabia can be something that is as bad as living in hell. There are a lot of restrictions upon women in Saudi Arabia and they are not allowed to travel anywhere without the companionship of a male. The companion can be a father, husband, brother or son and the only clause is that it has to be a male. Women in Saudi Arabia are totally dependent on the males in the family and they require the permission of the guardian to travel, study in a university or to marry. There have been many cases reported in which medical assistance have been denied to women because they did not have the permission of the guardian for the treatment.
